To use Nexcare Steri-Strip Skin Closures, begin by gently cleaning and drying the wound area to ensure proper adhesion. Carefully peel a strip from the liner and, while holding the edges of the wound together, place the strip across the wound without stretching it. Press down lightly to secure the strip in place. Avoid repositioning once applied. Do not remove the Steri-Strip until it begins to lift off on its own, as early removal can disrupt healing. Replace with a new strip if necessary, and avoid getting the strip wet to prolong wear.
